Sports For Development
Sports brings cultures together and bridges gaps between countries and across generations. It is recognised as an essential element of learning through physical activities and games. These activities have been a great motivator to enhance the spirit of learning and leadership, especially amongst the rural children.
With an intention to reinforce the youth of our country with the power of sportsmanship and commemorate the birthday of Hockey legend, Dhyan Chand, RAS WORLD celebrates August 29 as Sports Day annually in rural areas across 10 states in India. The Sports Day is designed to promote and foster community connection through active participation in various Martial Arts games and activities organised during the event.
RAS WORLD also focuses on using sports as a medium to encourage learning and breed leadership among the youth in the rural areas. Bringing people from various villages together leads to stronger bond between tribes, neighbours and families. This initiative is a medium to enhance community partnership and promote Self defense as a sports. Sports Day brings together more than 10,000 people every year who enjoy different Martial arts games and sports. It has resulted in youth transforming into Community Youth Leaders and serving as mentors to the village children.
The program uses sports and activities as a tool for development to bring about positive changes.

Honourable UD & HD Minister Sh. Suresh Sharma Govt. of Bihar. launched RAS WORLD (Mission Sunday for Savate) initiative
RAS WORLD is aimed to revolutionize grassroots Self defense & Martial Arts Sports in India. Starting with Karate in 2016, RAS WORLD will provide schools, colleges and athletes with a never-before-seen platform to showcase their skills and passion for sports. The tournaments will provide excellent facilities, conditions and environment for the student athletes. The most deserving athletes will be given scholarships and an opportunity to be scouted by teams, the coaches of the schools and colleges will be provided with the best training programs and the institutes will be provided with Karate equipment.

Sports Games for Childrens
The RAS WORLD Young Champs programme was launched in 2015 with the aim of providing top KARATE talent in the country between 12 to 16 years of age. It is a platform to grow and develop. The players were scouted through the RKCL grassroots initiatives.
RAS WORLD IZSKF OPEN NATIONAL KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP - 2016,
The RAS WORLD Karate Tournament, a comprehensive school-based youth Karate Tournament has reached out to more than 5000 youngsters in India since its inception in 2017. Through this collaborative program, RAS WORLD is committed to ignite a passion to explore and enjoy sports in millions of youth. The programme promotes health, fitness, Self defense and an active lifestyle through Karate, French Boxing and teaches the values of the game such as teamwork, sacrifice, discipline, dedication and sportsmanship.
